dvanced Technology Solutions is a new printing supplies company
established by Heiko Schmidt to not only offer state-of-the art
equipment and consumables, but also to re-instill some of the
long-established practises which seem to have been forgotten in
recent years.
Although it is a new company, Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS) has already
attracted some market-leading international suppliers with its New but Old
approach. IST Metz, the German manufacturer of UV drying systems and lamps
has appointed ATS as its local distributor. IST UV manufactures a full range of
drying systems, lamps and systems for printers. In addition, it offers an annual
check-up for all of its drying systems installed on presses around the country. This
Quick Check Tour allows printers to ensure that their drying systems are operating
correctly and that any ageing parts or lamps are replaced.
In addition, ATS has been awarded the distributorship for Unilogo labelling
machines, digital label printing and filling and capping machines. It manufactures
a full range of labelling machines for wraparound labels, front and back labels,
barcode and identification labelling and multi-label systems.
Another of ATS’ suppliers is TRESU which manufactures printing equipment
and ancillaries such as unique chamber doctor blades, coating circulators and
conditioners and dampening and press-cooling devices, as well as ink supply
systems through to coating units and flexo printing presses.
The ATOM Group offers an integral service to the flexible packaging and
converting industries. This includes central impression flexographic printing
machines and laminating solutions.
ATS also supplies a wide range of consumables including printing blankets, ink
duct foil, feeder belts, hickey removers, cutting sticks, ink knives, cylinder jackets
and sleeves, wash-up blades and suckers among others.
